The Most Popular Certification for Software Testers

In the ISTQB 2010 GA meeting, the president Yaron Tsubery announced that now 145.000 people are certified according to the ISTQB scheme. This makes ISTQB the most popular certification for Software Testers in the world. “ISTQB is the global standard for Software Testing,” said Yaron Tsubery.

During the meeting the major focus was on the further development of this leading certification standard for Software Testers. Nearly 50 experts from all over the world came together to discuss about the upcoming ISTQB Expert Level modules.

Graham Bath, leader of the Expert Level Working Party, and Rex Black, leader of the Expert Level Test Management Team, announced, that the new Expert Level for Test Management will be ready beginning of 2011.
